Week Notes [2026 #33]

Monday [Aug. 17th]

• I might be off by one with the week numbers here (i.e. this might should be week 32 and not 33). I thought I had it lined up right but some an online thing with the advanced number.

eh, whatever. it'll be fine.

Saturday [Aug. 22nd]

• Went to the ATProto NYC community day. Fun trip.

The primary reason I went was to give a lightning talk about NeoDoc. I'd been working on it all week since I only decided to go like the prior Sunday.

It ended up being 73 slides that I did in 4 minutes and 20 seconds.

Got some good responses to it.

Also met a few folks that I've only talked to a few times online. Always fun.

It was a really cool event.

The event started at 10am. I got there at 9 because I mis-read that that's when organizers were gathering. Sat outside at a little table that was set up in a group of former parking spaces that have been changed over by the city to provide places to sit. Very cool.

Sunday [Aug. 23rd]

• Fly back from NY. Had to leave the hotel at 5am. Spelt pretty much the entire time on both legs of the flight back to JAX. I think it pretty well balanced out.
